On April 17, over 400 guests attended Pikolinos’ fundraising Gala at the United Nations in support of the Maasai tribe and ADCAM NGO’s schooling project. Members of New York’s fashion, political and social circles were present. Jeannette Chang, Senior Vice President and International Publishing Director of Hearst Magazines International, was awarded “Pikolinos’ Honor for Social Commitment” for her cooperation with ADCAM (Development, Alternative Trade and Microcredit) and the BBALP.
Model Tai Beauchamp acted as the event’s host. Spanish guitar player Pablo Sáinz and world musician Kaissa performed. Pictures of Kenya by photographer Johannes Huebl were auctioned to raise funds for Kenyan “ADCAM Mara Vision School”, located in the heart of Maasai Mara National Reserve.
